Hey, my name is Audrey, and I am pursuing a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with an option in pre-medicine. I recently completed an internship in Madrid where I worked in a crystallography lab exploring protein dynamis with X-ray free electron lasers.

Outside of school I dedicate most of my time to OSU's club soccer team, my sorority, volunteering for the Crisis Text Line, and hiking around Oregon. I enjoy being an ambassador because I am able to share all of the reasons Oregon State has helped Corvallis become my home away from home. Go Beavs!

Hi, my name is Emily, she/her, and I am a first generation student from Colorado! I am a second year Biology major with the pre-education concentration. Outside of school and work I love to paint and bake some delicious treats. My favorite thing about being a College of Science Ambassador is that I not only get to show off the College, but I also get a chance to help students navigate their path forward. After I finish my degree I am planning to receive my masters degree and then go on to teach middle school science!

Hello! My name is Farhanah Muhammad and I’m a biohealth sciences student. I am fascinated by the science of health and medicine, and that's why I picked my major. I enjoy being a student ambassador because I get to meet a lot of new people and can help them understand how the College of Science at Oregon State University is a great place to learn and experience research. What I love about the College of Science is that there are a lot of resources and help that is offered that’s more than enough for me! Outside classes, you will find me hanging out at Indonesian Student Association (Permias) events, running at Dixon, and doing my homework at Valley Library. I also love to sing, cook, and take care of my plants!

Marine Biology with a minor in Chemistry

Hello! I’m a fourth year student from Eugene, Oregon majoring in marine biology with a minor in chemistry. I grew up exploring the ocean in southern California and as a toddler I decided that I would be a marine biologist. I’m interested in how human interactions affect the behavior of marine megafauna, and I hope to pursue this interest after graduation through husbandry in an aquarium. When I’m not studying, I’m either singing with OSU’s all-inclusive A cappella group Power Chord or curled up in bed with a new crochet project.

As an ambassador I’m excited to share my experience at OSU with prospective students and encourage them to find a place that supports them as they chase their dreams in science!

Hello, I am a fifth-year computer science student from Denver, CO. After exploring media production in the rolling hills of Washington for four years, I embarked on a new chapter at Oregon State. As an ambassador, I hope to guide students on how to discover high-quality learning opportunities aligned with their passions. After graduation, I want to become a product manager and fill the communication divide between technology and people. During my free time, I play Minecraft, build LEGO robots and ‘play Photoshop’ with silly pictures of my cats.

Hi, My name is Kaylah, and I am from East Los Angeles, California. I am a second-year Microbiology student with a Chemistry and Food Science minor. My passion is studying anything related to microorganisms and how they operate within the body's microbiomes.

Hello! My name is Lauren and I’m from American Canyon, California. I love being an ambassador of the College of Science because it gives me the opportunity to tell other students about the amazing programs and atmosphere Oregon State and the College of Science offers. I love reading and play tons of video games. I also love going to the beach and hanging out with my friends, but I also enjoy staying inside to relax. After college, I hope to become a wildlife biologist or work in species management.

Hi there, my name is Paige, she/her, and I am a junior biology student with an option in physiology and behavior. I am also getting a minor in psychology. I am originally from California but came to Oregon a few years ago. When I am not in class I play banjo, video games, and study. When I graduate, I plan to pursue neurobiology research so I can contribute to my community. As a College of Science Ambassador, I hope to start my contributions early by providing information and inspiration to pursue an education fit for you.

Apart from school, I dedicate most of my time to the Oregon State University Marching Band. I also enjoy rock climbing, swimming and outdoor activities in general. I'm currently pursuing a major in Advanced Chemistry and have been working in Dr. May Nyman's lab since May 2022. My experience at OSU has been wonderful, and I plan to come back for my M.S. in chemistry after I graduate, with the goal of pursuing a career in the chemical side of enology. Being an ambassador is amazing as it allows me to share my enthusiasm and highlight what makes this institution exceptional!

Hi! My name is Tony, I’m originally from O’ahu, Hawaii, and I am a BioHealth Sciences student with a Pre-Med concentration! I am very interested in how the science within our bodies works which is why I chose the College of Science and BioHealth Sciences.

I love being an ambassador because it gives me an opportunity to advertise to prospective students how great the College of Science at Oregon State University is! There are so many resources here for success and excellence in the field of science! In my free time I love to get outside, cook, listen to music, watch podcasts, and spend time with loved ones. After I graduate, I will be pursuing medical school to become a primary care doctor!
